Yoga

My Path of Yoga

In my teenage years, I spent a lot of time in my grandma’s library, where she kept books about the universe, energy work, and Buddhism. She would often give me small presents like crystals or plant something new in the flowerbed she tended just for me in her garden.

When I turned nine, my mother signed me up for Yoga classes with Mohsen, who introduced me to breathwork and meditation.

Years later, during a sabbatical, I decided to participate in a Yoga Teacher Training in Chiang Mai, guided by James French, Amy Devani, and Emily Thomson.

After teaching in Australia, I felt called to return home to Germany, where I began to deepen my connection with Tea and continued teaching and practicing beside my work as a host at my parent’s restaurant which always reminds me to practice Yoga off the mat in the simple but profound small encounters in life.

Approach

My approach to Yoga is to offer an integrated practice and to hold space for people, allowing them to gently release fixed ideas about how Yoga should look or feel.

Hatha Yoga Asana, for me, brings together everything I need in my own practice. It offers my students the time and space to align, observe, and simply be.

I always choose simplicity - often even a repetitive sequence - to ensure that everyone can participate fully, without pressure or compromise.
