The vision behind Cha Circle

When I first began exploring tea as a meditative practice, I struggled to integrate it into my daily life. I thought, How am I supposed to set up a tea ceremony every day? That would take at least an hour or more.

Still, I committed to sitting with tea every day for four weeks, and slowly, my life began to shift—not in a drastic way, but in subtle, meaningful ways. I still worked my full-time job, spent time with friends, practiced yoga, and kept up with daily life. But something felt different.

Tea taught me to move with more intention, to slow down, and to appreciate the small moments.

After a few months, though, I started to feel a little lonely in my practice. My friends back home are wonderful, but most aren’t into tea and prefer other activities. I longed for a space and community that could support and share in this journey. Realizing that others might feel the same, I decided to create the Cha Circle.

FAQs

What is the Silent Tea Room and how does it work?

It’s a monthly virtual gathering where we drink tea together in silence. No talking – just quiet presence. You’ll receive a Zoom link and a gentle invitation before each session.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Your membership can be cancelled at any time with just a few clicks. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing cycle.

Will I receive a tutorial on how to host tea ceremonies?

No, the CHA CIRCLE is not an online course. It's a gentle companionship to support your personal tea practice – not a training in formal ceremony. You’re invited to explore tea in your own rhythm, with presence and care.

Where will I receive the content?

All content is shared via the Cha Circle Page on my website. You’ll receive a reminder at the start of each month.

What is included in the €15 monthly membership?

Each month you’ll receive:
– A seasonal tea recommendation or meditation
– Weekly reflection questions
– Access to the Silent Tea Room

Do I need to have tea experience to join?

Not at all. The CHA CIRCLE is open to everyone – whether you're new to tea or already walk a tea path. All practices are gentle and guided.

Can I join from anywhere in the world?

Yes, the CHA CIRCLE is open to members worldwide.
To honor different time zones, there will be two monthly Silent Tea Rooms – one suited for Western time zones (Europe & the Americas) and one for Eastern time zones (Asia & Oceania). You’re welcome to join whichever suits you best.

Is this a spiritual or religious space?

No – the CHA CIRCLE is non-dogmatic. It is inspired by tea traditions, mindfulness, and inner stillness, but it’s open to all beliefs (or none at all).
