About Lena
Tea found me before I understood what I was looking for.
I was working in hospitality, practicing yoga, looking for something that held both — the art of welcoming people and the discipline of presence. Tea was exactly that. The first time I sat in a real ceremony, I understood it in my body before I understood it in my mind.
I traveled to Japan and Taiwan to experience tea culture firsthand. I sat in ceremonies, spent time with people who have dedicated their lives to this plant, and let the traditions speak for themselves — the Gongfu way of brewing, the quiet intelligence behind every gesture.
What I brought back wasn’t just technique and knowledge. It was a completely different relationship to slowness.
Teas & Spirit is what happened next.
It started with small ceremonies for friends. Then workshops. Then an online tea journey. Now it's a growing space for anyone who wants to bring tea into their life as more than a habit — as a practice.
I'm based in Munich. I host ceremonies and workshops here. Everything else — courses, the Tea Journey, mentoring — happens online, with people from wherever tea has found them.
What I believe about tea
Tea doesn't ask you to be spiritual. It just asks you to be present.
To pay attention to temperature, to time, to the way a single leaf changes in water. That's enough. The rest comes on its own.
